Listening

1. Mai and her mother are going shopping for Tet. Listen and tick (√) the things they will buy (Mai và mẹ sẽ đi mua sắm cho dịp Tết. Nghe và đánh dấu chọn √ những vật mà họ sẽ mua)

2. Listen again and write the names of the things they will buy for the people in column A (Nghe lại và viết tên những thứ họ sẽ mua cho mọi người ở cột A)

Writing

3. Now write an e-mail to a friend about your Tet holiday. Include what you will and won't do. Also include things people should and shouldn't do. Use your notes from Speaking and the rest of the unit to help you. (Bây giờ viết một email cho bạn của bạn về kỳ nghỉ Tết. Nói về những điều bạn sẽ làm và sẽ không làm. Nói cả những điều nên làm và không nên làm. Sử dụng các ghi chú từ phần Speaking và các phần còn lại của bài để giúp bạn)

I feel very exciting right now. Our Tet holiday is coming. This year i will cook banh chung with my grandparents. I'll also go shopping with my mom and i won't buy sweets because they're not good for our teeth. My dad and I will decorate my house with kumquat tree and peach blossoms. Our family will watch fireworks display together. At Tet, people should say good things and wish for the new beginnings. People shouldn't clean the house because all the luck and money will flow out of your house.
